World Cup Preview - Raheem Sterling is THE DUDE for England in Do or Die against Uruguay

I could give two fishes how old he is. I'm not one of those guys that puts much care in experience. If England are to beat Uruguay and go FAR in this World Cup, then Sterling must be at the heart of that. How Hodgson uses him may be a deciding factor tonight.

From now till I'm dead, I will always say Victor Moses is a better footballer than Sterling. BUT, I am liking what I see from the kid. He has NO fear and is one of the few players willing to take on his man and SHOOT at goal. That is something the Italian defence witnessed and with Lugano at the back, Hodgson can use Sterling to serious devastation.

If Uruguay are smart, they will get physical on Sterling and use their MEN to welcome him to big boy football. And that is where gold can be reaped for Hodgson. If Sterling attracts two players, he must lay it off to Barkley or Welbeck who will have more space to run into. If Sterling just has that one man with him, he MUST take him on and keep on attacking and attacking that defensive line.
Sterling can be an overnight hero. If he doesn't get a red card, stays on the pitch and INSPIRE England, he can put them in a superb position to unexpectedly come out of a very tough group that nobody thought they would. But England must not heap too much pressure on him. Dude is very young, and they must allow him to just be free and go out and express himself.....
