Arsenal. The team looking to see the green of profit. A club that refuse to spend big on the players needed. A union who tried to tell me that GIROUD is a main striker. But out of nowhere, things moved quickly and Wenger struck. The Brazilian sun got to him, he flipped and went ahead and just bought ALEXIS "THE CHILEAN BULL" SANCHEZ.
Alexis Sanchez has been a rampaging freak of a player ever since his days at Udinese. The guy pretty much single-handedly took them to third. For some reason, he moved to a team that was at complete odds with his style of play. Yes, he went to the institute of the tic-tac-toe that nullified the impact and explosiveness he has as a player.
Funny thing is, he actually did pretty well at Barcelona. Scored goals, two excellent goals in important matches and was one of the better players in a fading Barcelona side. But Barcelona are rebuilding and have opted for Cannibal Suarez over him and Arsenal are very lucky to nab him.
Before jumping up and down like purple piranhas, Alexis has to actually mesh well with the team. It's a very different system from Barcelona's much slower build-up. But, watching how he plays, how hard he works but most importantly, his FINISHING. That at the end of the day is why Wenger spent all that cheddar on him. Arsenal need a damn presence in the box. A bull, a thug, a TYRANT.
No, Arsenal are not title favorites, but if Sanchez starts firing those goals and really turns up to party, with how consistent Arsenal are, these Gunners may actually win those games against City, Chelsea and so on.
