Inter Milan are screwed up. They are a club that are about a thousand years a away from being relevant on any level. But Mancini seems to believe that he is the right man to change them, perhaps he had an epiphany in his sleep or something.
One of the visions Mancini may have seen is Yaya Toure coming to Inter Milan and being the very piece they have been missing to make them challenge for the scudetto and perhaps even win the damn thing.

Yaya Toure is a GREAT midfielder. A man who can play either in the deep lying role, right in the middle or drive forward and score amazing goals.But on the international front, he just has never really hit those heights. We can set that aside because we are talking club football and if he was to move to Inter, he would make them a MUCH better team.
He would be able to add an extra attacking dynamic to the team that Guarin seems to be the only one that offers, as well as a PRESENCE which Inter are missing. They have no real leader who can control the game and set the tone for how they play.
But there are deeper issues at Inter that are beyond just one man, and Yaya Toure.
Mourinho left the team without really building for the future. Most of his soldiers were old with very few, if any, young recruits. So it was essentially a team built for a one season mission and that was that. There was no future planning and no youngsters that were nurtured or developed properly.
This is a long term process that has to involve bringing in fresh faces and training them. The best man for a project like this is Van Gaal who is known for getting the best out of young talents. The World Cup proved that.
Yaya Toure is getting on, he ain't getting younger and him being in the team will NOT make Inter Milan title contenders. They need a lot more meat in their team, ESPECIALLY in attack to really do anything of note. Because you cannot be taken seriously if Palacio is your main goal threat in the team.
