Shakhtar NEED a Good win over Bayern in this First Leg...for ANY Chance

I don't know why I am even previewing this, but let's all be professional here and try and at LEAST find out some way....some very remote way, that Shakhtar can overcome the super might of the Champions League favorites. And to begin with, anything but a GOOD win with a clean-sheet, and they are OUTTA THERE!

Bayern have one of the best players in the world in Robben Hood. They have one of the best coaches in the world, the best squad and they are coasting in their league with only one loss.

So this is the reality of the situation that Shakhtar face and this is why I don't think they stand any chance. But, nothing is impossible and shocks can and do happen. What they need to start with is of course making sure Bayern DON'T get that away goal, and expressing themselves with their Brazilian attacking power and really exposing the high line that Wolfsburg did so devastatingly.

They have to work hard, and press the hell out of Bayern when they need to and have to be EXPERTS at defending and at least restrict the amount of chances that they give out to Bayern. If they can manage this, and really use the speed of their strikers, then maybe the can have a small chance of winning this tie.

When you are playing over two legs, it's about giving yourself a foundation in your home match, and tying to steal some away goals in the second leg.

Having that buffer and a good lead puts pressure on the home team in the second leg which will leave space for you to take those vital goals. But it's all about this leg, and Pep is smart and experienced enough to know that they can and should end the whole tie in Ukraine.

Bayern won't be playing for a draw, they will be looking to keep the ball and work that ass, and try and get a good win and finish off the job in Germany. That is why Donetsk must focus on making good use of the ball when they have it and making the right incisive passes. But it's all about what guys like Adriano and co can do with the ball and forcing Bayern into mistakes, and opening up spaces for chances and possibly goals.

So I was professional. Now can I be a little unprofessional?

Bayern are already in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
