Juventus get lucky with Monaco? Hmmm - Champions League Reaction

So is this a gift or a curse?

Monaco ARE the worst team in the quarters, that's a fact. That is why it would be understandable for Juve fans to leap with joy. But as Arsenal found out....this can be a slippery match if Juventus allow it to be.

The Dortmund tie should have been a lot closer, but Juventus blitzed that ass in their own stadium and made it a blowout. So perhaps, for their efforts, they were rewarded with a team who have no business even being here. This should have been an Arsenal Juventus quarter, but Wenger and his players had other ideas.

If Juventus take this match seriously, as they should, and play with the same exact intensity as they did against Dortmund, then they really should beat Monaco home and away. They have a better defence, Monaco have....Berbatov. And with Morata and Carlito, Juve can shift goals against the tough defence of Monaco.

But the reason why these are dangerous matches, is all the pressure is on Juventus. Their players, and history dictate that they MUST win. Monaco are the bricklayers who caught Arsenal asleep and have slipped through the portal.

For Allegri and Juventus, they need to be even more sharper and raise their game even more. No Pogba is a big problem because Monaco may target Pirlo and therefore win the important midfield battle.

It is a superb chance for Juventus to get into the semi, but Monaco have a slim chance. If they can defend as well as they did against Arsenal, and somehow, by some luck, get a goal from somewhere, then a shock is possible.

All I am saying is, Juventus should bring it home. They ain't Arsenal. They are a very tactical team AND defensive, which does not allow much of the counter opportunity that Monaco used to beat Arsenal. But in football, situations happen, red cards happen, as well as the inexplicable. Let's just say, HH EXPECTS to see Juventus in the semi-final of the Champions League.
