Lyon winning Ligue 1 would be a Victory for Football

What is the point in watching football if there is no competition? Or if things are lopsided and unfair? Because as far as I AM concerned, I want things to be difficult and hard in football as that is what makes it all the more interesting.

PSG have the players, resources and financial backup to WALK the French league.
So seeing them NOT ahead by at least ten to fifteen points is a disgrace and sackable offence. But I'm getting used to people not listening to me. I can talk from now till the end of time about how Blanc should never work again as a coach, but nobody will listen to me.

Back to topic. How Lyon are still pushing PSG for the title is an amazing achievement. Armed only with an in-form striker but ZERO stars, they are right up there with the overpaid Parisiens. And even though I expect PSG to get it done, it would be an amazing and important victory for football if Lyon were able to win the league. Because that would keep the same sentiment of it is what you do on the pitch that counts and not how much cash you have.

I don't understand nor do I want to, this world of modern football. It began with the Roman, and now every billionaire is looking to buy a club and also buy a league crown as well. It is ANTI football and killing the game, making it more boring and predictable. So to have Lyon, who aren't like they used to be with Lloris and Benzema managing to win the Ligue via football means and not monetarily, perhaps if only temporary, it's a positive message in the dark cloud that hangs over the beautiful game.
