The South American trio of Barcelona Deliver Bayern to the Pit.

Was it ever in doubt? Not Barcelona going through, because even an imbecile would have known that. What I am referring to was the inevitability of Barcelona scoring in Munich. These three of the Brazilian, the Argentine and racist cannibal is a very serious proposition, and has to be one of the deadliest musketeers I have seen in a loooooooooong time.

This tie was lost before Bayern took the pitch last night. At 2-0 we can talk....but three down?!!! HELL NAH! Against this trio, it was no longer a contest and Pep had quite a bit to make it so. Last night was damage limitation and pride, and Bayern managed to do that. To be beaten AGAIN would have been far too ridiculous and would have shamed Pep even more. But it's another year were they have been totally shut down in the semis without the scoreline even being close. Something for the Bayern hierarchy to think about.

As for the South Americans, I just don't see how they don't win the treble if all three are playing. That is the best chance for either Madrid or Juve in the final, for one of the three to be injured, and if they had to choose it does not take two Einsteins as to who they would want to get clapped. With all three playing, their chance-creation capabilities are far too high and it's too much for a defence to cope. Defending against two of them is tough enough, but with three?

The problem is you have a pass-wizard in Messi and two intelligent off-the ball players in the Cannibal and Neymar, and all three of them can finish or create their own G's. It's a ridiculous trio and it seems unless one gets injured or they have a game where for some reason it doesn't click, the treble is theirs. Although, Madrid may be the only team that could push them because they know them and the defence knows how to match up against them and deny them the chances. But every new day brings a whole new kind of match. Those three could just go mental and shift five.

We await who they face in Berlin and as for Bayern, they need to really ask themselves this question....how much have they improved under Pep since Heynckes left?

Peace,

HH
