City NEED a refund on Sterling after Spurs Loss
Once upon a time, there was a tale about a club called City that the townsfolk believed had already won the title. After all, they were unbeaten and had yet to concede a goal.
Never ASSume when it comes to football. Unless it's the Bundesliga or Ligue 1.
I have never been convinced about City nor have I about Pellegrini. They aren't United under Ferguson who were a club that you could genuinely put your money and depend on. I always knew City would hit a rough patch, but in all honesty, my powers of foresight didn't foresee their dip happening this early. It's made for a great start to the season and again, Pellegrini has to be questioned of his worth. I could give you the answer to that, but let's be "professional" and leave it up to debate.
Sterling has flopped. I can pretty much give you a cold-hard guarantee that he won't live up to his price-tag. I could have advised City earlier to either look for a better cheaper option or perhaps put faith in the youngsters. Sterling is overhyped and has never been as good as the media has made him out to be. His performance against Tottenham was a shocker and in stark contrast to another player who has come in and already hit the G's.
I'm not a big Kevin De Bruyne fan, but you can't argue when someone has a positive effect on a team. I want to see how he does over the course of the season, but already he looks a good buy. Where Sterling can't finish a Grade 1 sentence, De Bruyne's finishing has been pinpoint accurate. He's been on of the few positive things for a City team that have hit a brick wall. It won't last, they're too good, but it goes to show why nobody can take anything for granted with regards to this Premier League season. Not once in their two victories have City lead from the front. It's always been a final push where they have had to come from behind to win the title.
With Chelsea still struggling and United being the official Jekyll and Hyde team, I have no idea who will win the Premiership. City have shown that they can inexplicably implode at will, which gives United and Arsenal a good chance if they get their consistency right.
City....GET A REFUND ON STERLING.
