Have we all forgotten the notion of innocent until proven guilty?
How is it that when someone is charged, they are automatically a criminal? Isn't that...I don't know....a little unfair?
People have resented the fact that this elderly individual from Switzerland has been able to hold onto the accusations that he's been involved with bribery and corruption, and stolen money. There's nothing wrong with accusing someone. It isn't a crime to stop an old lady on the street and accusing her of stealing millions from Fort Knox. But where the line needs to get drawn is now painting said individual as a criminal, when this accusation has not been backed up by any evidence.
most powerful position in football for so long. Then there are the
At the moment, he and Platini have been suspended for a suspicious looking payment. I don't know the details, and I do not really need to. If they have any hard evidence that Blatter did any wrongdoing, then please by all means, throw him in jail and I'll do lock-up duty as well. If there is no proof about this, then the man is innocent. It's as simple as that. I keep on hearing these allegations, accusations, all of these stories and almost every ex-footballer coming out and condemning Blatter for this and that. Then when all the huffing and puffing is done, HH simply asks....
Do y'all have any evidence that Blatter is a high-profile criminal?
What I want to stop is this herd mentality from people. My hope, and this is a very long shot, is for people to go online, or buy a neutral paper or watch an objective news outlet so that they are given a totality of the story rather than just a little piece of it. People are too quick to pass judgment and just follow what the masses are chanting with their pitchforks and fires. You need to chill, take a deep breath, and decide for yourself once you have absorbed all the information.
It may be the unpopular position right now, but I am saying Blatter is innocent. That's my stance and I won't change it.
And he looks so friendly and Swiss...
