It's D-DAY for Hazard Tomorrow against Liverpool

If EVER there was a time for Eden Jeremiah Hazard to wake up from his incredibly deep slumber that he's been in since last season, tomorrow would be the time. In case the Belgian does not realize, but his boss's job is on the line. So, another Houdini disappearing act tomorrow would go a long way in ensuring Mourinho gets sacked as soon as the referee blows his whistle for yet another loss for Chelsea.

So the question on everyone's lips: What exactly has happened to Eden Hazard?

Hazard is a very talented football player. That has never been in question. He's got superb control, excellent low centre of gravity that is ideal for dribbling and really good footablling brain. But the one thing he lacks is what Chelsea need now more than anything. It's all well and good being a great student, following order right down to the most finest of details; but when things are dire and those instructions are not working out, it's now up to you to try and have an effect on the game off your own individual and egotistical back.

That has always been the one drawback of Hazard's game and why I have never held him in such an elite regard. A very good footballer, but not someone who ought to be feared and can carry a team on his back. It's during these hard times for Chelsea where players are underperforming, things aren't working out that you look to your best player to pull you through, to work some magic to steal three points that you ought to never have had any business getting your hands on.

Hazard just doesn't have that street-mentality to him. Someone who can dig deep, beat three players and slot that ball in the bottom corner to get Chelsea back in the game. With the match against Liverpool tomorrow where so much is at stake, I don't expect to bring their best game as the nerves will be there. So I am assuming the match will be tight, which would mean Hazard will be very key to unlocking a chance in the game. It's what he did so many times last season where he got Chelsea to the finishing line, the only difference now is they are playing really badly and Hazard himself has not yet notched up an above standard performance.

This can be a game for Hazard that not only wakes him up, but kickstarts Chelsea. During these really dark periods, there is always that one turning-point that can turn around a team's season. If Hazard can really have a man-of-the-match performance with two assists and a goal, making Chelsea 3-1 winners in front of their own fans, then they could go on a winning run to bring back the smiles and stop the rapid growth of grey strands that are multiplying by the day on Mourinho.

Or it could go the other way and Hazard could again just dribble around in a small area, not going anywhere, and keep passing the ball without taking the initiative. Then when Liverpool take the lead, his head will drop so will his teammates and it could then turn out to be disaster for Chelsea, with Mourinho trying to throw a spear at the referee and Abramovich getting some Russian Mafia to ship the Portuguese off to Siberia for his troubles.

Hazard....THE TIME TO ACT IS NOW! ANOTHER HOUDINI ACT IS SIMPLY UNACCEPTABLE!
