Okay, let me entertain this story that shouldn't even be deemed a rumor, but it's still fun to talk about it.
There's now a belief that when January comes around, Man United are going to make a move for Alexis Sanchez. Yes, you read that right. Manchester United are actually going to get up and go through the process of filing in a request to purchase one of the best players in their rival's team.
I can understand when there are rumors that you just brush aside, and that are plain stupid. I don't even know what word to call this. There is literally a zero percent chance of Alexis Sanchez moving to Manchester United. Wenger and the board would be torn to shreds by the fans if that happened, and Alexis himself doesn't seem like a player who would move purely for the money. Because this isn't a move back to Barcelona or to Bayern. This is the new Man United that does not come with the Alex Ferguson package. So it's no longer considered a big money move.
Whoever came up with this story, is either a complete moron or due to a slow news day, they needed something to wake everyone up and just get people talking.
It's NOT happening.
