Okay, I think Man United Have Given Up Scoring G's

That must be it. I can't think of any other reason why Manchester United have been drawing so many blanks, like a man who has had too many instances of intercourse. As I checked on the scores, I couldn't believe that United were still drawing at home to West Ham. This was a match that they had to win to keep up with the pace of the Premiership, with Arsenal and Leicester winning. But yep...they just went ahead and played out yet another goalless draw.

My affirmation of them giving up may be much of an exaggeration. There's some truth within it, if you're a conspiracy theorist, and the United players including Van Gaal have been paid untold amounts of cash to just stop scoring. The mafia are a worldwide organization, and as much as people say they will bleed for the shirt, all that really matters is the mighty euro, pound and dollar. But let's try and take a more tangible explanation to this...

Just look at that team. The fans demand that they attack, but you can only attack with the right players. I can't pour water from a piece of rock, and I can't use water to chop wood. United do not have the pieces to start attacking teams. Rooney is a brick, the midfielders are not really attack minded which leaves their most dangerous attacking option being Martial who is a freaking teenager. There was no way he was going to keep up his amazing scoring run for a whole season, and it is disgraceful for a club of United's stature to heap that much pressure on someone so young.

Van Gaal needs the players. It's not like they didn't try and buy everyone. Name the player, United put in a bid for him. But looking at the results and the performances especially, United need to get some signatures. It's not longer good enough to be shown going for the biggest names, they need some players wearing the United jersey. They can't just be anyone. United's weakness right now is in attack. Smalling is doing great in defense, De Gea is still one of the best keepers in the world, the midfield is perfectly fine but up front is where there is no bite.

I repeat...Wayne Jeremiah Rooney is a Brick.

Instead of hating on Van Gaal, throw some hate on the United board. Give Alex Ferguson this same exact team, and he will struggle. Not even Aristotle or a great African Chief of the highest royalty could make Rooney into a great player again. The buildup play is there, but if you don't have the players in that danger area to put the ball away, that is how you will get these kinds of results. Just forcing the team to punt the ball forward and be more aggressive going forward, won't yield goals and may result in the opposition getting something on the break and now those draws are now losses and United are out of the top four and maybe out of Champions League knockout contention.
