#UnleashKelechi. Pellegrini Must START the Kid Iheanacho

The time has come. I can understand resisting throwing a young player into the tough arena of professional football. You don't want to ruin him, destroy his confidence, or mess with his state-of-mind. I get that. It's why you don't have ten year old prodigies playing in Champions League matches.

But when a player has shown quality, his skills and the ability to be effective at this level when given the chance, surely it is time to throw him in. It's not like the player is showing some good signs and looks promising. He is scoring, linking well with the team and already looking like an accomplished professional. So this is surely the time to put him in the team.

Kelechi Iheanacho. The young star that people have been touting. One of a select few forming Nigeria's growing talent after almost a century of depression. Each time he has been given his chance for City, the boy has shone. We can't count the five minutes he gets in the Premiership as not even Zeus could shine in a that short amount of time.

I have been calling for his inclusion time and time again but Pellegrini has ignored me. Instead sticking with Bony who has just been a  dud for City. I love the guy and I support a fellow African but you have to call it as you see it. Bony has not worked out for City and is not on the same wavelength with the rest of the team. These things happen and they don't mean the player is rubbish. Bony is a really good finisher, but this isn't the team for him.

When Kelechi put in his hat-trick against Villa, that is when I was not going to sit by the sidelines anymore. Pellegrini has to make Kelechi Aguero's deputy. Bony must be content with being third-string and he has nothing to complain about. Kelechi may not do as well when given this opportunity. but at least let him fail first, experience having bad games and learn from it. You don't improve by sitting on a bench or playing five minutes at the end of a match.

Manuel, my Chilean amigo, do what is right. It's time for Kelechi to show what he can do. There's a title to be won, and now every game matters. Leicester will be waiting for you this weekend, and you best believe that's a team that really believe they can win the league. This is where Kelechi can have an influence in helping City win back the trophy.
