Would Eden Hazard Be Relevant Enough for Madrid or PSG?

Looks almost certain that Hazard is going to be heading out of Chelsea. Zidane has talked about how much he admires him, although I'm not  sure how much there is to admire about a dude that hardly plays these days. But there are Madrid and PSG fans who seem to think Hazard has been mistreated at Chelsea and has been ruined by Mourinho. So the belief is that once he makes the move and is appreciated, he'll finally be appreciated.

You see, Hazard is a talented player. I've always said this and never denied it. He has a great ability on the ball and is a naturally gifted footballer. But talent is only one thing. Talent does not give you a pass, nor does it excuse bad peformances. Without hard work, dedication and the ability to strive through then having all the talent that the world can afford is irrelevant.

Just look at Quaresma, one of the most talented footballers I've ever seen. But he just never amounted to anything. It was a combination of his arrogant personality and coaches not being able to reach him on a personal level. I tell you right now, if Quaresma had reached his potential, we would be talking about Cristiano a lot less when referencing talent from Portugal.

So Madrid and PSG can fight over Hazard, thinking that he's an amazing talent and that alone will make him a great buy. But if a player does not have the fight or personality to dig deep when times are hard, then he may not be as good as people think he will be. This has been a tough period for him, but as the saying goes, when the going gets tough, the ones with the biggest balls get going.

For the past month, I have seen nothing from Hazard to indicate that this guy should even be part of the PSG or Real Madrid squad. He's either been "injured" or when he's played, he has offered nothing to a Chelsea cause that needs all the help it gets. So I think people need to really take a step back before pumping up Hazard when he doesn't deserve such praise. He has great talent, but all that matters is what you did yesterday, not a year ago.

Eden, pull your socks up, and get out on that pitch and prove why we should give two f's about you.
