Lukaku Needs to Move on From Mourinho, Focus on Everton

We are almost approaching April and our Boy, his greatness himself, Mourinho is still without a job. But hopefully, for all our sake, he will land his post come next season. So in his much needed downtime, he's planning on what kinds of players he will need in whatever team he will manage. The name of Lukaku has come up, and the way the two parted ways was under rather sour circumstances.

It was the Super Cup match against Bayern, where Chelsea looked to have won but only for Bayern to equalize in the last minute. Then it came to penalties, and Lukaku stepped up and his very weak penalty lead to Bayern taking home the trophy. I totally believe that emotions of losing that game to his sworn rival lead Mourinho to selling Lukaku. Also, he was young and wasn't really working out but that was just the tipping point.

Since that happened, Lukaku has transformed himself and become one of the best strikers in the Premiership. As bad as Everton have been in the league, Lukaku has shone and as been very lethal with his left foot. His individual G against of all clubs, Chelsea, to put Everton in the semis shows just what he can do as an indivual and how far he has come since being a player who moves like he's got two anvils strapped to his ankles.

If Mourinho takes over Man United for example, and he was to make an offer for Lukaku, I don't think the Belgian should make that move. As much as I love My Boy Mourinho, he messed up and he let Lukaku go. Everton had faith in him and helped to develop him. Lukaku owes the club and the last thing he should do is go play for a manager who did not trust him and sold him because he missed a penalty.

It's a shame that Martinez is a talented but essentially flawed coach because Lukaku's performances don't deserve to be in a team who are below mid-table. He ought to be in a team that are fighting for the Premiership in this crazy season. As much as I think he should not go play for Mourinho; if Spurs or Roma, Wolfsburg came calling...that's an offer he should give serious consideration to. HH
