Wenger Blaming Fans for Arsenal's Home Troubles is NOT the Smartest Move

Arsene oh Arsene...why art thou so oblivious to the reality around you?

Wenger, whilst giving his press conference has pointed to the home fans as the reason as to which they were unable to beat lower teams. Because you know, the players on the pitch don't take responsibility since the fans watching use osmosis to magically control the players.

Simple Wenger logic.

Falsely, and this is what will draw a lot of ire, is Wenger pointed to them being better away from home which is true but he went as far as saying they would be champions. Except, people have already posted on twitter and have shown that Arsenal aren't the best team away from him. Leicester and their local rivals have both been better away from him.

If Wenger wanted to offer an olive branch to the fans and find some common ground, he completely botched that up. The comments he made will just further convince those fans against him that he's out of touch and he doesn't really care about what they think. For a manager, it is imperative and paramount that you are connected with those people who work hard to watch the team play. Because again, without the fans, there is no professional football. Just a friendly kick-about with no payment involved.

Where does this leave the Wenger Out campaign? Man, it's going to be some tough few weeks. We'll just have to see where it all lies at the end of the season. But if Arsenal finish below Spurs and with these comments...it's going to be very eventful summer in North London. HH
