AFCON 2017 is ANYBODY'S To Take

Gone are the days of powerhouses in African football. The Super Eagles, Indomitable Lions, Pharaohs...

As we prepare for the next exciting edition of the Nations Cup, I cannot name you one team that are favorites, or who people will be looking to beat. Hence why it's up for grabs for any team hungry and focused enough throughout the tournament.

That's what will make this one of the most open editions for some time...

Does the Ballon D'OR Actually Matter?

Does it?

Honestly, when you think about it in football terms and what the sport is really about, why is there now so much importance on what is essentially an award that is given rather than earned?

Champions League: PSG Must Change Style to Beat Barcelona

Paris Saint-Germain are going out in the next round of the Champions League.

That is what will happen if Unai Emery does not change how the team plays and moves the ball around. Because what they have been doing now is why they somehow conspired to finish second in the group, and how they allowed themselves to be caught in a 2-2 draw with Ludogorets.

LUDO-GO-RETS.

A change is needed.

Champions League: Can Arsenal Actually Beat Bayern?

The most interesting and standout tie of the round has to be Arsenal having to face Bayern Munich yet again. Hold your ponies, this isn't the tie of the round because of two heavyweights going against each other, and this being a hard one to call that can swing either way.

Nope.

It's purely because Arsenal, who are the overwhelming underdogs, do at least have a chance and a path to toppling Bayern, however unlikely it may be.

Fan or Not, You've Got to Love Dortmund

The thing about football and its very tribal nature, is you are not allowed to have affection for any other team other than your own.

It's your tribe, with all other outsiders being treated as enemies. The foul villains that you are trained to hate, or despise if they are a rival.

FIFA 48-Team Format Would be IDIOTIC

Infantino is really looking for the shortest stint as FIFA President if he goes ahead with the idiotic and ill-advised notion of having a 48-team World Cup.

I mean, what the FUDGE?! To even think of something so foolish, actually makes me physically sick, and especially when he wants to mess with one of the most beloved and watched events in the entire world.

Chapecoense Plane Crash is VERY sad

When these things happen, there is not a lot to say, but something has to be said. This goes beyond football which at the end of the day is just a game.

The Rise and Rise of Victor Moses thanks to Conte

Victor Moses. A man brought in by Mourinho at Chelsea once upon a time and looked like a promising young player for the future of the Blues. But in Mourinho's "wisdom" he sent this great talent out on loan after loan after loan, because he did not feel he was good enough to be part of his Chelsea.

We all know how Mourinho's second-stint at Chelsea ended...
