Garcia and his Roma Boys Must Finish Off the Job, but Napoli WILL BE READY
This will be a very tasty encounter...VERY TASTY. With Roma edging out in the first leg, this match will be another close one. ESPECIALLY, the way in which Napoli dealt with Milan, Benitez's boys will be coming all out...and hopefully Insigne will be up in there. The main draw for both teams is the news that Fiorentina's star man Cuadrado will be out for the final. That means there is a HUGE chance that whoever wins this, WILL win the final.
This match can really go either way. I would have liked for this to be the final, but it ain't. So I think this will be a case of chances. WHO CAN TAKE THEIR CHANCES. Napoli have a proven marksman in Higuain and an attacking midfield that is now gelling with the brilliance of Insigne. Roma have that tough defence, one of the best midfields and a rejuvenated Gervinho. So it will really come down to a Gervinho vs Higuain showdown. Which one of them can have a bigger impact in the match.
Higuain, after his two smacks against Milan, will be surging with confidence. He is a known finisher, but NO, he is NOT better Tevez and should not be in the Argentine team instead of him.
But, more times than not, if he gets given an opportunity, he can put it away. So for my guy Insigne, it will be a case of trying to find him and for Gonzalo to break that offside trap and try and time his runs to perfection. Roma will need to be very weary of his runs mainly, rather than whether he can dribble past them...which he can't.
One of the players of the season will be hoping he can have another lasting impact on Roma like he has done for so many times this season.
Wenger and Arsenal would be scratching their heads, as they would have needed his performances now for them after getting their asses handed to them by Liverpool.
It will be case of Gervinho finding that space and avoiding defenders getting tight to him. If he can find that, and RUN at the defenders, I have faith that he can beat them and thus create some havoc in that penalty area.
Napoli will need to be tight on him as Juventus were in the Serie A game. They CANNOT give him space to roam. Getting up close to him, and forcing him out wide and restricting the room he has to work in will an effective way in dealing with his threat.
Should be a good game...will TRY and switch between this and obviously the United/Arsenal one, but I don't know how it's going to go. I just have a funny feeling...Napoli may edge this, ESPECIALLY if they are playing in their Naples fortress.
