De Gea seems off to Madrid. Can You Blame Him?

No you can't. And please United fans, this is no insult or affront to you, but it always helps when we deal with the realities of situations.

Right now, United are in the rebuilding stage and getting shafted by Everton whilst Madrid are competing for Champions Leagues and going head-to-head with Barcelona for the title. It's a pretty wide gap and for De Gea who is now seen as one of the hottest goalkeeping talents in the world, this is the right time to leave because you never know what waiting can do. If he puts it off for next summer, maybe he will play badly and Madrid will go looking for the next hot keeper with Leverkusen's Leno looking pretty damn good.

Yeah, it sucks he turned down all that money and didn't even offer me a cent but that's life. United have to plan for life without him,and he will be a huge loss. Some saves he made pretty much won games for United, and there are not many keepers this season who have more impressive shots stopped than him over the last twelve months. Just being as real as a cat, United are missing a player who was extremely vital in them securing the top four position.

PS Isn't it sickening that we live in a world where a player can turn down two hundred thousand g's a week?!
