Iker Jeremiah Casillas, time to step Aside and Leave

Whoever said you stay great forever? Tell me who, so I can smack them upside their head. You don't. Every player, no matter how great, has an expiration date. For a time, Casillas was the best keeper in the world. But that time is no more, and he has now been nothing more than a liability for Real Madrid.

You never want to see a legend leave. We all would hope that someone who has given their entire to one club deserves to stay. But this is professional football at the highest level, and I personally have no time for sentiment. Casillas makes far too many mistakes to be between the white posts of one of the biggest clubs in the world. Therefore or ergo...it's time for him to step aside for Spain's next number one and the best keeper in the world last year.

We're talking fumbles, flaps, bad decision-making, bad positioning...and the icing on the cake...a foul throw. All in all, these are signs that Casillas's time is up and he will only be doing a detriment to his boyhood club by enforcing himself onto them. Benitez has to be strong enough to stamp his authority and bring in some newblood. Because Barcelona are a beast that will be hard to contain. To even attempt to fight this beast, they will need the best players playing at the highest level...which does not include Iker Casillas.

In conclusion...I better not see his face for Madrid next season....
