Not sure HOW much Scweinsteiger can improve United's Midfield

Man United will now win the title next season. That seems to be the notion. But people just don't want to read the details. They just want to be excited for no real reason, but I think it's only right for me to give the real.

Bastian Schweinsteiger is a quality player. You never lose that quality. His general passing, understanding and reading of the game will benefit United in the midfield and allow them to be more consistent in how they control games and turn those draws and losses from last year into wins. Okay, so he is a GOOD signing. Just as Depay. They are all pieces Van Gaal is amassing to make his own kind of squad.

Now United fans, have you done your research into Bastian's injury problems last season? Have you seen the games he's played and compared them with his 2013 performances? No, I know you haven't because nobody wants to do the lowdown and dirty nitty gritty work. But hey, that's why they call me HH, I'm here to unearth it for y'all.

Bastian is not going to be enough to get United to that title. He is no Scholes or even Keane. IF, this was 2013 then yes, United would be realistic title challengers because that year, Bastian was the best central midfielder in the world. As of now, he is a shadow....okay, that may be harsh but he's just not as dominant or consistent with his passing as he was way back then. United fans need to realise this because the reactions to his coming to Old Trafford has been blown waaaaay out of proportion. It's as if they signed Messi or Pirlo of three years ago.

Van Gaal is building and is not done. He hasn't labelled Bastian as his marquee signing, the fans have. King Louis is still doing work because he's trying to build a team rather than getting the one man to deliver them all the way to Mourinho's title.
