So where should Pedro Go? United or Chelsea? Hmmmmm
He has to go. That is not even up for debate.
If Pedro wants to really show the world that he's a first team player and not just an afterthought, then he has to out and prove himself. He won't do that at Barcelona because he will not be anything more than a bench player. The dude that comes on, and is used as a replacement if one of the main three are injured.
And remember....he USED to be one of those main three cats. Times change, and the wise ones change and adjust to the times, and now is the time for Pedro to not only leave Barcelona, but to leave Spain and that whole environment and prove that he can do what Messi has been unable to prove....do well in a whole new league and system.
The decision is now down to the Spanish cat as to where to go to. Seems that the crossroads has two junctions. Either United or Chelsea...and both teams NEED a player like Pedro.
Mourinho may believe that he can get the best out of Falcao, but let's be honest, he wants to cover his ass in case it doesn't work out. He DID say the same thing about Torres, believing that he would be the one to finally get him back to his best...but we all know how that ended up.
IT FAILED....for those who are unsure.
Pedro would be an extra addition to the attack and could replaced Cuadrado who doesn't look like he may be the right fir that Jose was looking for. He can play on the wing, as well as come inside to play off Hazard and Costa. It would also reduce the ridiculous workload that Hazard had to carry where he was pretty much the ONLY attacking threat when Costa was injured.
Van Gaal has been having ball out in the market. The double-chinned one is intent on winning the title next season or at least making Mourinho sweat all the way until the final day of the season.
With Van Persie, THANKFULLY, being shipped out to Turkey and Falcao to Chelsea, Van Gaal NEEDS an attacker. Whether it be a striker or just an attacking player, he needs one. Oh, and you can add Di Maria to the exit as well so it makes it even more imperative that Van Gaal gets a player in. Pedro would be VERY ideal for United and would easily improve on their attack than they had with both Van Persie and Falcao combined.
Where should Pedro go? I would say United. Simple as that. He would DEFINITELY be a starter, which is what he is looking for, and with Mata there and how United play their football, it would suit his flow a lot better than Mourinho's more defensive style. And Pedro NEEDS the move. You can see on his face whenever he comes on, that he is not happy at all coming off the bench, and he feels that he ought to be a starter. It has to pain when you were a regular starter and you are bounced off when players come in.
GET YOUR ASS OUR OF THERE, PEDRO!
