Spurs and the Recruits

As I write this Bale is STILL not officially a Madrid player, but we expect should be. Amidst all this, unlike some other clubs...Spurs are amassing a serious group of players. Both Lamela AND a player I like, Eriksen, should both be joining the ranks of the Spurs soon. But is it enough for them to properly challenge for the Prem? I truly believe so...

With Paulinho, they have the nucleus in the centre and one who can tackle, distribute and even chip in with a few goals. Now, they have an Eriksen who despite age, can be a true creative force in that hole. Nimble, small, and with very quick feet. You put in Lamela who just adds more of an attacking option and a guy who has the Argentine blood of always pushing forward.

The ONLY thing they are missing is a goalscorer. Two penalties does not make you a reliable goal-getter Soldado. But Defoe has always been that guy, but it seems Boas does not have the faith I have in my brother.

Despite that, they have midfielders who can score and I believe, if they are structured well and find the right attacking style...this could be a dark horse for the title.

Play DEFOE!!
