Hannibal Suarez makes quite a Sparkling Comeback at Old Trafford

A lot was made about Suarez finally coming back, like it was the return of some great Greek emperor. I believed it was too much hype...but I have to say I was pretty shocked by the impact and influence that the man with the sharp tooth had on the game.

From linking up with other players, to taking shots, to skills and just being a potent threat...this boy from Uruguay was EVERYWHERE. The biggest surprise was how Liverpool did not score as they did everything they could to at least deserve one goal against their rivals. But, as many have commented, Liverpool may have lost but they still won.

Liverpool showed that with Suarez, and with Coutinho to return along with Sturridge and Moses, this is an extremely dangerous attacking team. Rodger has to be doing catwheels and moonwalks at the amount of chances they created at Old Trafford and how they CONTROLLED the game in the first half.

Every team needs a star player to win a league or even be talked about. United had it with Cristiano, Chelsea with Drogba and City with Aguero...as well as the Invincibles with Henry. Liverpool have a true asset, and if Suarez is kept fit and Coutinho and Moses play to their potential, then YES...they can win what will be a very open league. I tell you now, the Liverpool I saw last night can beat any team. But...it's about the RESULT...not about "what ifs".

I refuse to accept how Liverpool literally got on their knees and pleaded with Luis to stay and how they have pampered him. No player should be bigger than a club....apart from Pele, Maradona, Zidane, Real Ronaldo. So Liverpool are not really in my good books. But, they have their diamond back and Rodgers now has no excuse but to at LEAST deliver one trophy, get in the top four....and who knows about the Premiership. Most likely not as their squad is too thin.....but who knows....
