Kaka set to return for Milan....

Okay, been just thinking about this, and it could probably be the most inspired signing of the year. Kaka, once the best player in the world has been snoozing and wasting away at Madrid as so many have done. Now, he has a chance of a rebirth at the place where he made his name to the world. This really could go one of two ways....

The first scenario is...KAKA IS BACK. He finally rediscovers his form and provides that crucial link between midfield and attack that Milan have been missing. With the loss of Pirlo, Milan have lacked a creative leader who can thread passes through, and see what no other sees. Nocerino and El Sharawy don't seem to cut it...and Montolivio is happier playing deeper. That is where Kaka can come in and really help to define Milan and really give a challenge to Juve. With Kaka bringing about his old days, with the instinct of Balotelli and a solid team, Milan will take Juve all the way.

Then there is the OTHER scenario. It has just been too long since Kaka has been good and Madrid would have sucked all the juice he once had. He may have one or two good games, but overall he will lack that touch and that belief he once had. It will end up with Allegri having to look for another creative player with Kaka only having a bit-part contribution to the Milanese.

I'm a born pessimist but try and HAVE HOPE. Sadly, I just don't see the fairytale story of Kaka returning to form. It's just been far too many years gone and although his skill was not predicated on speed and quick legs, Madrid sucked the life out of him. I would LOVE to be proven wrong because the Serie A needs an injection up its backside to be competitive. So let's see what Kaka does this weekend and if he can prove that he can not only offer something to Milan but maybe give Scolari something to ponder about for Brazil next year.
