Zidane Claims He Could Not Work With Mourinho...hmmm.....

So Zidane, who is getting used to his coaching role next to my friendly Italian, Ancelotti, has come out and said he could never be able to work under Mourinho. At first, it seems like yet another insult against my boy....but Zidane did clarify by saying it's because he did not "know him well enough." Yeah.....

I am going to tell you right here and now that Zidane, as well as many within the Madrid fraternity, did not like Mourinho. He is using the lack of a relationship with him as an excuse. It's why Mourinho left eventually because he indirectly was telling us that people within the the Madrid world did not like him, or trust him or his methods and philosophy of coaching. In contrast, we have Ancelotti who can't be any more different to Mourinho if he tried. To begin with, their coaching styles are from different worlds, with Carlo being the nicer democratic type and Jose being more authoritarian and like a dictator. They also have totally opposing personalities with Jose being....Jose and Carlo being a lot nicer and approachable. That's not to say Mourinho is a grumpy bastard who talks to no one, but he won't take advice and from players like Ancelotti would.

I think it's good Zidane has gone into coaching as he has a wealth of science he can share with the younger up and coming players. Who knows, soon we may see Zizou in the hot seat for France in the 2022 World Cup....
