Brazil Croatia World Cup 2014 Build Up - Beware of the OLIC

So Mandzukic is out of the opener, which means Croatia should just lay down, and take it like men. Maybe. He IS a prolific goalscorer and would have tested the very dodgy and unstable David Luiz. But....why are people disregarding Olic???

Olic is a hard worker, has that experience (sometimes a very overrated stat), and he is one who knows how to finish and silence a crowd as he did in 2007 against England in Wembley. But, starting with him and not Mario means that Croatia will have to attack differently. Olic is shorter, likes the ball at his feet and is more mobile than Mandzukic.

Brazil will need to be aware of the INSANE amount of work that Olic can put in, and his willingness to never stop running and keep on going. He may not possess that aerial threat that Mandzukic has, but with the ball down low, he has some skill....and Luiz is an accident waiting to happen and Olic will be looking to force him into one of the errors he's made at Chelsea.

It would be criminal and suicide if Brazil take Olic lightly. Croatia are not looking to just accept defeat. Olic is a man that plays with pride. And a slip up in defence, Olic has that quickness of mind to pounce and is very capable to putting away a one-on-one if it comes to that.
