World Cup 2014 -Ochoa IS THE MEXICAN WALL OF DOMINATION, and Brazil Are In Need of a Striker

Mexico have a new hero....and his name is OCHOA. Neymar scored. A beautiful header from a nice Dani Alves cross. He SCORED. I don't know how on earth Ochoa saved that, because that was a certain goal written all over. Ochoa pulled off a miracle as well as other saves to EARN Mexico a great draw, and a great chance of coming out of the group. Brazil...well...that thing we used to say...about not having any star strikers....well....

Neymar again showed that despite his young age, he IS the man that can give them this cup. He was the one with the best chances, and the guy that was making things happen. But it can't all fall on him. As good as Ronaldinho was, he couldn't do it all on his own...which is where Rivaldo and Ronaldo came in.

Fred Flinstone performed well at the Confederations Cup, but the guy has looked sterile, lost and immobile in this cup so far. In this match, Mexico marked him out of the game and gave him no space at all to threaten them. And then Scolari looked at his bench, and tried to look for Dinho and Moura....he even looked in the changing rooms, but they weren't there. So what did he do? JO TO THE RESCUE!!!

Once that happened, Mexico knew that this match was drawn. But even the Mexicans could have stolen a victory, with some very nice shots that tested Julio Cesar. They were looking for a victory that would have put them in a great position to top the group. But in the end, a draw is very good for Mexico and Scolari HAS to try and get the best out of Fred.

Brazil won't win this cup. Once I saw the squad, I was convinced that they did not have enough MEN in that team to make it happen when it counts. Brazil have always had that striker to rely on to score when it mattered. Fred does not have that character, talent, ability or skill to do that. Well, I think that he maybe has the character but you need some talent to go with that...which is what Pele, Romario and Ronaldo had. Scolari has to dig really deep into his team, and try and somehow get that winning gene out of them, if they are to claim the cup on their homeland.

NEYMAR CAN'T DO IT ALL ON HIS OWN.
