He's baaaaaaaaaaack! FINALLY someone with some LEGIT talent returns to Dortmund. After people have been leaving for the cheddar, it's nice to see someone RETURN and not some brick, but a PLAYA.
Dortmund's two year domination of the Bundesliga had A LOT to do with the excellent performances of Kagawa. It was a team effort but screw you, some teams have STARS and Kagawa was one of them...hence why the great Ferguson identified him and picked him up.
This was the same Kagawa who ran the show when Dortmund put a fire up Bayern's ass in the German cup final. Sometimes, not all the time, but sometimes there are teams that are made for you. Shinji was never meant to leave Dortmund, it was his home. It was by leaving that he realised this. And, he's not at the end of his career. At 25, Kagawa is right in his prime to help Dortmund mount a challenge both at home and on the European battleground.
The problem is whether or not he has the sex with him. Being on the bench, depressed and unhappy at not playing as well as a bad World Cup, could have been detrimental to his talents. BUT, don't be negative! The Bundesliga needs a kick up its ass and this is it!
Also, you have the Reus situation. He sees Goetze and Lewandowski gone and fears that he may have to make the move. It would be too unfair for the young dude to bear all that responsibility. BUT, having Kagawa to help him, and possibly make Dortmund even more competitive can only make Marco think twice before making the "money" move.
Can't wait for Dortmund's next game and hoping the entire team gets lifted by this. I am all for competition rather than a monopoly. And I am sure Pep would welcome the challenge of Dortmund being stronger.
Enter the Shinj!
