Does Rodgers have a PLAN at all for Liverpool as they take on THE MADRID MACHINE??!!

So......what is the plan Brendan? 3-1 was the score at ANFIELD, at their CRIBB and now they go to Madrid's den where these cats are scoring as easy as Abramovich can print money. So surely, Brendan has some sort of a plan to not just give up, bend over and allow Madrid to have a training session and further embarrass Liverpool. Surely....there IS a plan....

I'm now hearing that Captain Marvel is being rested as Chelsea visit this weekend. But if that is all Rodgers has planned then Liverpool supporters must be very afraid.

Gerrard CANNOT in any lifetime keep up with the younger and better legs of Kroos and Modric, so resting him should not even be a headline...it should be a case of putting in much more fitter midfielders in there to suffocate Madrid and restrict the amount of service Bezema and Cristiano can get. Surely...THERE IS A FREAKIN PLAN!!!!

But I think I know what the plan might be. If Balotelli does start....Rodgers may be idiotic enough to make Liverpool play the SAME exact way. Open, attacking and leaving their asses open for violation. So when they do get beat...probably even WORSE, all the blame can be put on Balotelli who will NOT be effective tonight because he does NOT fit in the team, he does not apply himself properly, and Rodgers has to be the most inept Premiership tactician out there. A serious case of Wengeritis* may be forming.

This match is a write-off. Liverpool have to focus on getting those six points against Ludogrets and Basel. Those won't be easy games because Liverpool are playing like a mid-table team right now, and just can't seem to figure out how to win matches and ADAPT. But this match could be something. Rodgers can actually show that there is more to him than relying on Sturridge and the Cannibal to get his system working. Because anything other than a hardcore, defensive, contained and counter system will spell DOOM for Liverpool. They are NOT good enough to waltz with Real and cannot open themselves up...only teams like Barcelona can do that and look what happened to them.

Surely...there is a plan....
