How far can Ancelotti take the Madrid cats?

They just keep winning. For a long ass time, Madrid were the rich kids who always underachieved. Remember when they kept getting knocked out in the quarters before MY BOY came in there? People like to forget. But Carlo has taken them to uncharted territory....

If you look at this Madrid team, they are not THAT good. Modric is a very good midfielder but not great, Pepe is not and never will be a central defender. Remember Brick Benzema? And Cristiano, he may get all the praise, but it was never like this before my boy and Ancelotti has to be the manager that has gotten the best out of him. Ancelotti has created an environment in which he can truly flourish.

But the question of how far Ancelotti can take Madrid lingers. Can these cats totally dominate European football, and actually do the rarity and DEFEND their crack? I am sceptical.

Madrid have been winning big and winning small. And once you are on that winning roll, you forget how to lose. So right now, Madrid are unbeatable...but nothing lasts forever. Guys need to realise that the players in this team are not GREAT. As far as talent is concerned, Barcelona have a stronger frontline than Madrid. But Ancelotti is making it work. Talent is one thing, but this is the winning game, and it's all that matters.

If all players are fit, Madrid will be hard to beat. They are clicking and the first eleven are all in sync with one another. But it just takes ONE really bad beating to let it all come crashing down. THAT is what Ancelotti must guard against. It's not about winning every single match from now till the end of the season. It's all about those damn trophies, and getting their minds focused on being champions rather than invincible.
