Roma and Napoli, two underachievers looking for some Salvation

These were supposed to be the two teams that were to make Serie A competitive and interesting again. It was supposed to be a three horse race.

But Garcia is an imbecile and Benitez just hasn't been able to work his magic with Napoli as he did with Liverpool.

It is truly a shame that the Serie A has descended into the modern day Bundesliga. There is only one team that will win it, and there's not even a debate about it. What makes it even sadder is how the Serie A has no pull, with most stars either choosing the Premiership, La Liga or Bayern or PSG. How many top players at the height of their career head to the Serie A?

I want to start with Napoli because Roma is a team I have exerted too much of my bitchiness on. And with Napoli, it really is a case of Benitez flopping by putting all his chips and bets on Higuain. Because to not get enough quality in midfield and defence has put too much pressure on an alright striker....but this ain't Messi or the goal-man called Cristiano.

Benitez is a very good manager. Give him pretty much any team, and he will adapt and find ways to
make the teams function. With Napoli last season, he showed his quality as a coach, but if you don't have a strong squad, you can have that one good season, but it just can't last over several seasons.

What can be said about Roma?

I will say two things. Garcia should be banned from any coaching position for at least three years, and if Roma had Higuain with all the midfielders they already have in their team, then perhaps the Serie A would be a lot closer.

Its an important game. Lazio is coming for Roma's ass with only one point behind, and Napoli are just two wins away from being on level points with Roma. So this match does matter. And perhaps the league champions have been decided, but the fight for the top three is going to be very exciting.

I tried.... but I was not able to make four go into two.

Sampdoria are all up in there and have been an amazing story with how they have been able to even put themselves in contention. All in all, the one exciting thing happening in the Serie A.

The match should be good, as there is something to play for, and as annoying as Roma are, I am leaning towards the Romans to actually take this win.

But please....PLEASE....can someone sack Garcia, thank you very much.
