Dortmund Must Offload Adrian Ramos. He Does Not Work

He sucks.

I could end the article with those two words, because it perfecly sums up what I think about Adrian Ramos. Again, I mean to not cause offence but to just merely tell it like it is. For a club who have been transformed this season and are the only ones chasing Bayern, they need every player to be on the same page. Dortmund are on Krypton while Ramos is chilling on Venus.

I've been watching Dortmund a lot this season, and loved every minute of it. With so many teams playing a brand of football that I either find boring or tedious, it's refreshing to see a crew take it back to just being entertaining in the raw sense. Dortmund play the game as it ought to be played with the best attacking football you will see in Europe. Although, Napoli are very close in that argument.

So when Tuchel has to make the customary substitution and take off Aubameyeng for Ramos, things get awry. Whenever Ramos has come on, he's been totally terrible. Completely out of sync with the rest of the team, inability to move with the ball and just looks awkward whenever the ball reaches him. It just reduces the flow of Dortmund and make them less of threat when he's on the pitch.

If Dortmund want to secure second place and even go further in the Uefa(Europa) League, then they need to sell him and get a better striker to play back-up for Aubameyang. Because as was shown in the last game, the Gabonese man is not going to score in every game or even be fit. So having a proper striker to come in when this happens will be very crucial in deciding what happens to Dortmund this season.

It's very easy to just assume that things will be fine. At the moment, they have had a superb first half of the season with Ramos playing second-string, to Tuchel may not see any reason to change. But as the season drags on, you will get injuries and players will start to tire. That is where the squad comes into play and teams that have that asset do better than those without. If you have a case where Ramos has to now start games and play ninety minutes of multiple matches, that will be a serious problem for Dortmund.

You have to call it as you see it. Dortmund are an excellent football team with chemistry that would make any Pi Chart proud. Ramos is not on the same level as the other players. He isn't good enough to be in the squad and so with this window coming to a close, my advise would be to cash in on him and try hard to get a pretty good striker. Trust me, they are out there, you just need to work a little harder with your scouts in looking in the places that other clubs aren't.
