Bilic may just have made a very cunning purchase. If reports are to be believed, then Emenike is going to fly into the island of the United Kingdom, London to be specific, for a medical to complete a loan move to West Ham.
It's looking like this can be a reality, and hoping that everything all comes to fruition, this could work out to be very good for Bilic. There are no guarantees, and Emenike may be crap, unable to connect with his teammates and be a complete and total brick. There's always that possibility.
But here's hoping that isn't the case. Currently, there are only two legit Nigerian players in the Premiership, Ighalo and Kelechi. The latter doesn't have enough game time and needs really think about making a move elsewhere, while Ighalo has had a very good season for Watford. So it's time for another Nigerian to get into the mix, and one who has a point to prove.
With the Eagles in disarray, sacking Keshi and Enyeama clashing with Oliseh as well as Emenike falling away from the national team, it's been a circus. I would love for people to see what Emenike is made of, and I'm sure the man himself wants people to see how good and tough of a striker he can be. An Amokachi reborn, who can potentially offer more and make a bigger impact on the Premiership than him.
Most medicals happen to go through but there's always that small chance. So if Emenike needs to fake any tests, he should go ahead and do it. He needs to move away from the obscurity he's been in at the far reaches of our planet and come to the melting pot of professional football.
