Inter Milan Need a Playmaker, but Eder WILL Help

I have been saying this for a very long time, and people refuse to take heed and listen. Inter Milan are a playmaker away from being a serious competitor in the title race. At the moment, they are losing games, losing ground and losing their way after a very good start to the season. But if a playmaker is not on the cards, and they secure Eder, that would be of great help.

At the moment, there is a bidding war between them and Leicester City. Unless City either offer a much higher amount with a lucrative package and maybe throw in a private jet, you can sign, seal and deliver on the fact that Eder will become an Inter Milan player. There is far too much of a strong argument for him joining them than going all the way over to England.

With the Euros coming up, it's always important to stay within your own domestic league. This doesn't mean Conte ignores any players from abroad. Veratti plays in France, and he is a guaranteed starter without Conte having to watch him every week. It's just that he is more likely to put his focus on those players at home as opposed to the ones abroad. So Eder would be wise, with a few months to go until the big kick-off, that he remains in Italy.

Unfortunately, this is very bad news for Sampdoria. Eder is their main goalscorer and one of their best players. For him to leave, it makes things harder than they already are for them. And it may get worse, as Soriano will look at Eder's departure and feel that he needs to leave as well, as he is probably the club's best player. If that happens, then the club may find themselves in a relegation dogfight.

Getting Eder though would be really good for Inter. He can play alongside Icardi, and being different in style and stature to him, a partnership could be formed. But it doesn't solve a fundamental problem that Inter have had, which is creating chances. Eder isn't a playmaker. He won't thread through-balls, and sit in the hole being a facilitator. He wants to get his goals as that is the core of his game. But without that player who can set up chances, Inter may continue to run into the same problems.
