How is it Possible for Sevilla to reach a THIRD STRAIGHT FINAL?!

Let's just say that I both applaud but am very suspect by the fact that Sevilla have reached a third straight European cup final. Has this ever happened before? It doesn't matter whether this is the Champions League's unwanted cousin. This is still a tough competition where reaching a final is a feat in itself, but to get there three straight times where you have already won it twice is incredible.

But it's my suspicion that exceeds my congratulations. I feel something fishy is going on here and I find it hard to believe that all the teams that take place in this competition were unable to do enough to defeat Sevilla in two legs. That's one hundred and eighty minutes. Surely that's enough time for almost twenty or more teams to win.

Egypt did a similar thing where they reached the final of the Nations Cup on three occassions, and won it all three times. The only difference is that is international football where you can't buy players. It was during a time in which the main African powerhouses of Nigeria and Cameroon were going through a dour patch and thus Egypt benefited from having a very good unit that lasted them.

This is European football where the money flows as freely as the fountain. So Sevilla's journey to the final ought to be harder. Keep in mind, on the previous two occassions they were in the competition from start to finish, but this year they came into it having finished bottom of their Champions League group. Still, the effort Shakhtar put up against them was laughable. Sevilla had already won the tie in the second leg by scoring the two away goals.

Sue me, I think something is up. I say they're doping. If tests are done and they aren't then I stand corrected. I might even be the only one that thinks this, but if Sevilla overcome Liverpool in the final and win it for the third straight time then all those teams who fell to them ought to hang their heads in shame.
